One thing I learned yesturday is that when you are in a physical or emotional abuse relationship then get out before it's to late because lots of bad things can happen to you such as DEATH just because your boyfriend said IM SORRY AND I LOVE YOU! its a lie they dont mean it if they continued to do it.

My favorite exibit was the cofine and the poem "I GOT FLOWERS TODAY" that poem was so true and it probably would've happened to me if i didnt leave it takes alot of courage to leave and after you leave that kind of relationship you will feel a relief and its going to make you feel better than you thought you did.

A sign up sheet with names of all the girls that were in a abusive relationship or have the girls write somthing on a peice of paper saying what happen with or with out name and have one of the main staff read it outloud and also let it say what did they
do to get out.

Villegas, Teresa

Lindsay Community School

Spring Valley CA, 91977

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Teresa Villegas I am a student and mother at Lindsay. I think this program exists for mothers and their babies because everyone can bond with they’re children. I have learned many things from participating in this program for example I know the words to the songs that my son likes like The Three bears, The Shark song, The Wheels on the Bus. I do use music outside of school when were home and bored when were on the trolley or when he gives me a sign that he wants to sing. When my child and I participated in the music therapy, I feel happy that my son likes it and he stands up to dance or when they get bags out he knows that its either shaker or scarfs and he starts to scream. My favorite part of music time is when my son says MORE in sign language which the music therapy thought him. Also my child loves it when we sing the Pirate song and then he goes under the parachute.
One thing that my child learned in music therapy class that he always does outside of class is sign languages either he wants to eat, more, or all done. Those three sign languages were being thought in music therapy. The music class is a positive experience for myself and my child because we had bonded more than before I didn’t know how to bond with my son but now I do because now we sing together and play more together and for that I Thank the music therapy. I love the music class because it shows the children new activities. The best part about music class is when I see my son smile and dance and he knows what to do next. This class has improved my child’s development in many ways. For example he knows 3 sign languages and he also understand me better. I would definitely recommend this class to a friend because it’s wonderful you bond with your children and the babies learn lots of new activities sign languages and etc.
Sincerely yours,

Teresa Villegas

St0P dA Vi0lENCE

I think its starts because the other partner is jealouse and it ends up with

Anger/Emotional abuse

Intimidations

  • Putting her/him down.

  • Making him/her feel bad by calling them names.

  • Making someone afraid by using looks, action, gestures.

  • Destroying property

It started before I had my son if i text someone he thought i was cheating on him and he started calling me names, I went to a new school he also thought I was cheating on him. He would punch me if I screamed at him and he'll also pinch me to. He would always put me down and then after I would pack my stuff and leave he'll ask me to come back and I continued to go back and it just got worse and worse so I finally took my rings off and I gave it back and he followed me to the trolley and he was very drunk I couldnt take it no more so i havnt talked to him for 2 months. If you fell you should leave then go hes not the one dont let hes saying fool you you're better than that.

1) According to Thomas Jefferson "Not a foot of land will be taken from the Indians without their conset" this quote was not kept because throughout history the governer has taken the land of the Native Americans.

2)They didnt want to go to Oklahoma so they satrted to build schools and many became christians.

3)Indian tribes had lost ninety million acres of reservation land. Because it divided the reservation into seprate pieces of land called allotments. The law stated that any land left on the reservation after each Indian had received his or her allotment, was declared "surplus land" and could be slod to non-indians.

4)Captain Joseph was part of the Nez Perce and agreed to move to a reservation in 1855 but later were forced to move because they found GOLD in that part of reservation.
4B)Captain Jack was part of the Modoc Tribe and they were forced onto a reservation in Oregan to live with old tribal enemies and led a group of his people back to thier taditional lands. Thier request to be given a place to live in thier homeland was denied by the goverment.

5)Supremacy Clause- The white had got the presidant to over rule bacause they wanted the land and its resources.

6)NO, I wouldnt of listein unless they threatin my family but in other cases no because I dont like when people tell me what to do and I would've found a way to get warm clothes and supplies just for my family.

1) What resonated me the most was the THE FUTURE IS IN YOUR HANDS.
I belive its so true because now days were coming up with alot of technolgy and its becoming more easier to find things and look up information on certain things. WE HAVE TO WORK FOR OUR CAREERS AND WE HAVE TO EARN OUR CAREERS!

2) He explained to us that a guy named Doni Schultz had brain cacncer since he was 3 years old and still manage to do hes homework even though it took atlest 100 more hours to finish and he lost half hes memory.

People go threw so much struggle and still people dont refuse to give up on there education.

Everything that happens in your home to come and take it out on school.

Basiclly saying that people shouldnt and dont have to give up in school..school well chane our lifes in a better way.

3) Yes he is. He showed everyone that any kind of race can do any thing they want to and can do what they want. Hes challenging me to not quit school and to continue on with my dreams. I want to be a nurse a laywer and a probation officer because nursing is the thing I always wanted to do since i was a little kid, second I wana be a lawyer because I like to argue alot and I like to fight the point.

"i AM" P0EM

I am Passionate and Rambunctious
I wonder what will happen next
I hear my son breathe at night
I see my son growing up with what he wants
I want my life to get better
I am Passionate and Rambunctious

I pretend I have no struggles
I feel my son’s touch
I touch the water from the beach,
because it’s my favorite place to be
I worry about my family
I cry when my son’s dad ignores him
I am Passionate and Rambunctious

I understand life isn’t always easy
I say “LIFE WILL GET BETTER”
I dream of the days I’ll live
I try to be strong in life
I hope things become not so depressing
I am Passionate and Rambunctious

Yesturday the Words Alive ladies came to discuss the book PIECE OF CAKE I really like that book because I can relate to it. Ive been threw some stuff that shes been threw, all the girls put there opinion of what they liked about the book and why. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to all the girls that are on Probation , Gang Supresion Unit [GSU] and etc. This book was about a 11year that ended up on the street at a young ae no one caring for her and she became a prostitue and then a gang member ended up getting shot and took a turn un life and found a job got herself an apt. and was doing it on her own she then became a Lawyer. This book really shows that we always have a second chance in life if we take the oppertunity to change it
FOR OURSELFS!
